ADV ANNOUNCES AUGUST 23 RELEASES



HOUSTON, July 13, 2005 —ADV Films, the number one producer-distributor of anime in North America, is pleased to announce two very special DVD releases for August 23: D.N.Angel 7, the final volume in the hit anime series, and the super-affordable Thin-pack Final Fantasy: Unlimited Complete Collection.

ADV Films is proud to present the seventh and final volume in the hit anime DVD series, D.N.Angel: The Light Breaks, available in stores everywhere August 23. D.N.Angel, based on the Top 10 manga series, is one of the best-selling anime series of 2005.

Adapted from the international best-selling manga series by Yukiru Sugisaki, D.N.Angel is a romantic adventure with a fantastic premise. High school hottie Risa has two suitors: shy Daisuke and the magical thief Dark. But the twist is that Daisuke and Dark share the same body, and it's Daisuke's love for Risa that allows Dark to take over! The only way to resolve this romantic disaster is for Daisuke to win the heart of his true love – but since she's only got eyes for Dark, that's not happening anytime soon!

Synopsis: Daisuke Niwa's life is already rough, but it's about to get even harder. D.N.Angel: The Light Break (SRP $29.98 DVD) is a DVD-only release including episodes 24-26, presented in both English 5.1 and Japanese 2.0 with English subtitles. Extras include a commentary track with voice actors Greg Ayres (Satoshi) and Illich Guardiola (Krad), “D.N.Angel Talk 5,” featuring Miyu Irino & Shunichi Miyamoto, the third installment of the 3D Scene Production special, and “D.N.Angel Unplugged: Caged Bird,” plus clean opening animation, clean closing animation, and previews of upcoming ADV Films releases.

Collectors Edition Still Available!

The D.N.Angel Collector's Box is still available. This special collectors edition contains the first volume of D.N.Angel plus a stunning custom series art box with full color artwork sized to hold the entire seven volume series (SRP $39.98).
