Gundam SEED 2 in the works?

At the Comic-Con Gundam panel, an audience member reportedly asked the panelists about a Gundam series to follow SEED. Sunrise director Matsumoto Satoru responded that the new series will be Gundam SEED 2, to be released in Japan in October of 2004.
