Toei announced on October 30th that a live action adaptation of Gō Nagai's Devilman is under production and should be released in Japan next summer. The movies website is here According to a Sankei Sports article quoted on Natsume Maya, the budget for the movie is one billion yen (US$9 million).
Popular Tennis manga Ace wo Nerae! (Aim for the Ace!), which has already been animated for a TV series and a movie, will be turned into a live action drama (dorama) series set to debut on TV Asahi in January.
