hey people, i have recently found out about anime cons, well i was wondering do any of you know any good ones coming up in New york????

BAAF has no plans of returning, but as we find out about them, you can check animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/events.php which is located in the Encyclopedia.

A better place to check is Anime-Cons.com. It is by far the best website to search for anime conventions.

AnimeNEXT is an anime convention that takes place in the NYC Metro area and will be in June of 2006. It's become the defacto anime convention for NYC with BAAF and AXNY gone.
There's also Onna down in Newark in October. If you're open to multi-genre conventions, I-CON or Connecticon are good options. If you're willing to drive about 4 hours, you can get to Otakon (the largest convention on the East Coast) or Anime Boston. |
