Some publisher want's to bring the Math Girls manga to the western world. Since the publisher seems legit I felt like I needed to post this. |

cool stuff, I've only seen kickstarter used for games but using it to publish manga may be a decent idea.

Digital Manga Publishing has done a couple of Kickstarter projects: for their Swallowing the Earth reprint and their Barbara license. Both titles are Osamu Tezuka titles, so you can imagine how those turned out. I'm hoping to see more Kickstarter projects related to manga, as well as TRSI's humble foray into Print-on-Demand. |

Actually, speaking of Digital Manga--- at the Digital Manga Guild's videoconference yesterday, they mentioned that they want to "try something new" with each Kickstarter they do. They also mentioned that a josei title might be an option for the next one.
There's been other manga Kickstarters before (like Orange Crows volume 2), so I hope it goes well for the Math Girls guys. I would invest, but the concept seems soooo boring. |

So, more DMP kickstarter projects on the way? I'll be sure to post it here then when they launch it. |

Halfway there, and it seems ANN (finally) posted it.
If they keep this pace up the will surely get to the 9000 dollar. |
