I see that not many conventions were followed up on in the past.
Only in 2003 onwards were conventions outside of the USA mentioned in the events database. Yokoyama Chisa, one of my top favorite seiyuu had attended one of her early and also important abroad conventions back in Shinnenkai 1998 in London, at the Raddisson Edwardian hotel. I think this deserves to be put into Yokoyama Chisa's entry in ANN along with the AX '97 item. Here are a few links that pertain to the interview that took place with Chisa-chan.
