Oh man, having Tokyo (or as Funi would call it, Toyko) Magnitude 8.0 licensed in NA would be freakin' fantastic.

Woo-hoo! WTK, based on the fact that Siren Visual has it in R4, which distrib does that likely mean it's with? Does SV have the same kind of relationship with a company here that Madman has with Funi (if I've got that right)?

My guess would be Sentai Filmworks. I guess we just have to wait and see who it really is.

Looks like Sentai snatched it up. Now let's see how badly Steven Foster can muck this up. |

I got a reliable source that it will be released by Maiden Japan. Formal announcement will be coming soon. |

Never saw it but, but it seems pretty interesting from what I've seen or heard.
I wonder why its going under Maiden Japan though? (assuming thats true) If Sentai is dubbing it, well I hope its one of there better jobs |

Ooh, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 I would definitely go for, though I'd rather it be the domestic version than the R4 one. Slightly less expensive that way.

Yes, that would be kind of curious. Sentai has only released a few titles through the Maiden Japan line and they've all been DVD-only, sub-only releases. Tokyo 8.0 does have a female lead, so it sort of fits the Maiden Japan template but it takes a very realistic approach to the drama which makes it somewhat different than the other MJ titles. If this show truly is getting a dub (and/or a BD), I think it's more likely to be released through Sentai proper. |

And the pre-order listing for Nichijou Collection 1 is fully active now: LINK
Release date is still March 20, 2013. Collection 1 includes episodes 1 to 13. It's still subtitled only release. |

^ Is there any word on whether or not the [AU] Bakemonogatari release will have the character commentaries?
