TOKYOPOP has Peach Girl: A Change of Heart listed as a second, sequel series to Peach Girl. But I was wondering if anyone knew if it was presented that way in Japan, or if it was essentially one series with a second story arc? (Like the Dragonball / Dragonball Z manga

I was looking on AnimeonDvd.com and it has Peach Girl listed as 16+ volumes running in Japan. Then they list Peach Girl: COH as (Peach Girl vols. 9+) So, I would assume that Tokyopop just split the arc up and marketed them as Peach Girl and Peach Girl: COH.

I looked at an auction for Peach Girl series on a Japanese site. The covers all said Peach Girl, not Change of Heart. I guess that was something TokyoPop did. I wonder how they are going to deal with it later. The series is up to 17 books now.

The first 8 Peach Girl books was in the old Mixx format (Sailor Moon, Saint Tail) and flipped. From volume 9 of the series TP changed the name to Peach Girl: Change of Heart, changed the size to the now-standard TP-size and started printing it unflipped. Peach Girl is one ongoing arch and not two arches which might be assumed from TokyoPops website.
