Nice to know my copy is already winging its way to me...

That's why I used it as my cart topper to get free shipping at TRSI. Either they just decided not to print very many copies of this title, or it's very popular. The first set sold out pretty quickly, so I wasn't taking any chances with the second.

Had a feeling it would sell out fast. My copy is reserved over at TRSI.

I'll double dip on this since I have the original standard edition. Is it me or do the pics look like a regular sized artbox instead of NISAs normal small poster sized ones?

I decided to double-dip as well to replace my Standard Edition sets (which I haven't watched yet) even though I don't usually watch dubs. I'm doing it more for getting BD quality and the premium packaging. I decided to order from TRSI even though RACS is $6 cheaper on the Premium set; I just feel more comfortable with TRSI (have never ordered from RACS) especially on a pre-order.

Wow, a seismic change in how NISA handles its releases. I already own the original Premium Editions, so I'm not going to double dip, but I'm very happy for those people who like releases to be dubbed. I really hope this does well for NISA.

In regards to the new Toradora set, I didn't see the posting but I saw the banner ad and I swore profusely. This is truly the end of an error.
Standard BD/DVD? Wait, it makes more sense to get the full premium edition for a few dollars more. Well, this is going to be my first NIS purchase so I may as well get the full experience. |

Nice to see them dub something, too bad a series I don't want.

I kinda want to double dip on this but the price is steep. This also makes me wary of buying anything else from NIS for fear of a dubbed version coming out later on.

That's the potential downside to this foray into dubbing. It might impact their sub-only releases if some people wait to see if a dub will come out later. |

toradora is my favorite book ever written.
the anime is pretty good too, but the book is much better. I refused to buy those crappy DVDs in the past. I would like to buy this but I dont know if I can afford all this anime coming out. |

That's too bad, I've grown to love their PE packaging. From the angled pics of the artbox, it looks like the cases and artbook slide in and out from the bottom. My PE sets are arranged with the tops open, I always just assumed they were meant to be like that. Maybe I've been doing it wrong this whole time? What I would really like to see is some sort of upgrade/trade-in program. That's a lot of money for a double dip. |
