The ant arc ends with episode 135, the next arc was only a few volumes. This series is definitely ending when the summer season is over (or at least it'll be caught up to the manga). I don't know where you pulled 100 episodes from.

Episode 126:
That was intense. This fight was worth waiting for. It literally ended with a BANG thanks to Netero. King, eat your heart out. Although for the duration of the battle, I was rooting for the King because of his past development and ideologies.

The fight was so great that, although I knew about Netero's fate , I was on the edge of my seat just because the way they animated it. All the emotions, fluency, dialogues were simply superb...
After some not so good fights (at least, for my taste), I never expected they'd deliver something like this,so I'm happily surprised.
Now, let's wait for Gon's turn.

Netero vs the King continuation.
Watching that fight was enjoyable.
Looks like it's gonna take much more to put a dent in the King.
It was like watching someone play on pinball machine.
Netero managed to impress the King, but at a steep price.
Damn, this fight was brutal.
It's nice an entire episode was that fight.
I was getting sick and tired of all the scene hopping.
In the end Netero half failed, but didn't quit.
Wonder if that Hail Mary worked..

Episode 127:
Whoa, that was some hardcore tears flowing there. The King looks like he's almost dead from that. The Rose really did its trick there. At any rate, I'm VERY hyped to see Gon vs. Pitou not because it's a fight but what Gon is fighting for.
I also find Komugi kinda cute for some reason.

Damn, what a blast!
Shame about Netero...
It was nice to see Ikalgo, Killua, Palm & others together again.
Gon's waiting has finally come to an end.
I'm glad Komugi is ok now.
Pitou was kinda frozen and scared.
Youpi and Pouf's reactions were priceless.
The aftermath episode was really good.

Episode 128:
That first half got pretty weird fast. Wow. I don't even.
The rest of the episode was great though. I'm curious to see what the King will do now that is back.

We lost a great guy...
It's a shame for Netero.
Looks like some are lucky to get another chance at life.
Guess it's not that easy to get rid of the king.
There was a lot of weirdness in the first half.
He came back stronger and scarier.
Pouf sure came up with a devious plan fast.
Things should get really interesting from now on.

So I just recently marathoned through the Chimera Ant arc and I have to say that it has been really good and really annoying at the same time. What's up with the narrator? It seems he's there simply to waste time. He has to hold our hands and explain every single thing as if we were absurdly stupid. There has been so little plot advancement every episode since this infiltration of the Ant base started that it almost puts Bleach and DBZ to shame. This is unacceptable.
On the other hand, Gon has finally been interesting and although the battles advance at a snails pace, they have been interesting.
Ugh, I'm gonna wait till the last episodes of the Ant arc air.

More Meruem, Pouf & Youpi weirdness.
They all seem to have changed on a deeper level.
Things are getting really interesting again.
Pouf is set on offing Komugi.
But he has mad Killua to deal with now ^^
Shame that ended before it even began.
Not much action this time.
Hopefully, we'll see Gon vs Pitou next time.

Looks like Pouf is the real enemy that is still alive in this arc. Honestly, I hope the King regains his memories especially of Komugi so that he finds out who the traitor is.
On another note, Killua was freaking awesome in his Godspeed mode.

126 finally aired here. That was impressive. I looked at the comments for eps to come, though, and am a bit disappointed to see that the king survived. OTOH, of course he did; that's how these shows generally unfold. But Hunter x Hunter confounds expectations sometimes, and as close to the end as we're getting, I was thinking....what if he's really dead? How will the Royal Guards react, having failed in their whole reason for living? I dunno. Seemed an interesting turn things could have taken.

They still have Alluka to introduce, the butler/illumi battle to get him,Gon to save, the election arc, meeting up at the world tree, The order to kill Netero's son and traveling to the dark continent. I hear you guys are only up to where Merium is recovering from Netero's Rose Nuke. There are plenty aka a "bunch",of episodes to go. No doubt another movie in between. Stopping now at the ant arc would be tragic. The manga is starting again so I have high hopes.
Then again.
