Does anyone know of anyone that could make custom art boxes for DVDs/Blu-ray series?

The Paul Champagne ones are quite well known, pretty sure he'll do requests too. They're probably quite pricey, but they look very nice.

Paul Champagne is great. He even did a Paranoia Agent box for me when I asked if he could. The boxes will run you about $30-$40 each.

Was that on request, or was it something he already designed?

I asked if they could do a Paranoia Agent box and they sent a mock-up of what they could do, so yeah, I guess it was on request! |

How much did the request cost? |

I think it cost like $35, similar to what the other ones cost. That doesn't include shipping by the way, I guess that depends on where you are.

Well, I wouldn't expect the shipping to be too much, since it would be an empty box, so weight isn't too much an issue
DO you think he could replicate boxes (like the art on them)? Curious how it works? Is there a graphic artist that copies the series art style, or if they find art and fix it up to make it print nicely |

Sounds pretty awesome. I think I'll email him to see if he makes a Flame of Recca box or maybe a Master Keaton one.

Oh man, if he sends you a mock up for Master Keaton, show me! I might just want that too...
I saw on your other thread, I hadn't even considered asking for manga boxes, though the ones I'd really want boxes for are just way too long (like Banana Fish's 19 volumes), but maybe for shorter ones, like all the Fumi Yoshinaga series, perhaps... except those are oversized... but there's just not too many I'd want them for in the first place and they're all super long series. Unless he'd be able to do something like Viz's FMA and Naruto boxes.... then I'd totally want one for Basara. |

maybe for manga, he would have to cut it into sections
like...5-9 volumes a set I like the smaller sizes, since I can then wrap my boxes in zip-lock bag (I cut and wrap the bag right, so it's easy to slide the discs out) though...maybe I can figure out something in how to wrap larger boxes |

Just email them directly with your questions, I think the contact info is on the website. |

Wouldn't really be able to afford it right now, but I wonder if they'd do cases for stuff like the Evangelion Rebuild/ Mardock Scramble/ Berserk blurays. Or those Funi releases that don't get a bigger box for the series like Psycho Pass part 1&2 or Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

okay, I'll do that Though, did you get to pick the artwork you wanted on your box, or did they sort of do it on their own? |

They sent me a mock up of what they could do, and I liked the artwork enough that I just went ahead and said yes to it. You would have to ask them if you could suggest your preferred artwork. |
