Shueisha publish the Volume form (tankoubon ) .
But the individual chapters are published in monthly Shonen Jump .
..i think . not sure though . |

| I think DRAGON was talking about a mixup on the news piece, but it looks fixed now. Shueisha publishes Monthly Shonen Jump and its tankoubon. |

I am excited that there will be a new vampire themed anime, but I am also disheartened by the goofy high school funness that is portrayed on the website. I had never heard of this series before, and my reaction went like this:
"What? A new vampire anime! HORAY! There is not enough vampire anime!"
"Oh. Another mediocre vampire anime. I should have known."
Well, heres hoping it is at least semi good. My expectations are low (It is SO HARD to find good vampire fiction) but I will be watching this. |

Hopefully you've already picked up the two volumes of Vampire Knight Viz put out so far. It's one of the best Vampire manga out there. |

I do have both Vampire Knight books.
Eehh... they are okay. A bit heavy on the angsty teenage drama for me. But damn those vamps are hot. |

| I've thought of the series as an interesting read, though I haven't been able to get as far as volume one. Perhaps the anime can make me want to read the series more. And I agree, the vampires are hot in that series. |
