Goto has some other eroge-based anime roles like Kaede in Shuffle and Tears to Tiara's Rhiannon.

So who's Yui Furukawa? Yoshikawa, ok, got it. Still not as funny as Tomoko Kawakami being called Kawasaki in the official Naei_7 credits.

As someone said previously, "Japanese is hard."

And even though Trumple ceased production two years ago, someone's making a promotional anime and they still own the copyright? A story from beyond the grave of mysterious circumstances and that's just the production company.

Nope. Official website lists the name as "Yui Furukawa." http://trumple.jp/character.php

Also, all readings can be found here: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/失われた未来を求めて

Is that picture what I think it is? CG animation, for a VN adaptation? That would totally suck.

I found a larger version of the picture and it does appear to be CG. Ridiculous. The only thing the game had going for it was pretty art. Now the anime won't even have that.

I don't see anything wrong with that picture. I find nothing in it that would automatically doom the series. Looks quite good to me.

Have you seen the original visual novel? One of the biggest reasons it got so popular was because of the quality of its visual that was at its time the prettiest in the industry. I suspect most fans of the VN is anticipating good visuals in the anime as well, but this picture pretty much says "No, we are not going to animate the show by hand".

Hmm, CG. I didn't mind in Sidonia or Arpeggio, but will there be much action in this? Not sure how it'll look if we see a lot of talking heads in this series.

Such good news to hear Goto returning to VA work. She's an absolute gem and I'm so glad to hear she's recovering from her illness Smile

While I have seen various eroge-based anime, Kanon 2006 was my fave and the dub of it remains 1 of my fave dubs.
