The trio caught up to Hiroshima team.
Damn, those bastards pulled an evil ace from their sleeve.
We got ourselves a new villain.
Midousuji just got officially dethroned.
The leading bunch got a bit scared by the new threat.
Flashback to Hiroshima's race last year was kinda sad.
That explains his desire for revenge and cruel behavior.

Another effort at villain redemption, but this one didn't work on me. The end tag did though.

What a terrible person, blaming other people for his only failings. The whole revenge thing is stupid, incredibly so, and people claim about dumb motives in other shows.

Seriously, the whole flashback was "But he didn't want to give me one spare bottle! Revenge!"
Dude, Midousuji is running to please his dead mother. Go to him and talk about trauma.
Let's remember that the same year Fukutomi pulled Kinjou out of the road when he was about to win and they just made it up.
Also, I swear they are running out of ideas of depicting crazy and creepy ways of riding a bike. If Machimiya, Midousuji, Junkai and Arakita ride together, the people would run away from the race.

This show really likes flashbacks but I still find them quite compelling considering Arakita is one of my favorites from Hakone academy. I just hope he can control some of that rage these days.
Still, I like his determination in this race to keep the team together. Also, how long has it been since we've heard the Hime song? I miss it

Arakita's story.
From baseball to cycling.
It was nice to see his transformation.
Arakita was a wild beast at first.
Must admit this was a fun episode to watch.
Not much of Inter-High, but still good.

I seriously don't get why anime guys break up with the girlfriends to concentrate on training/studying. That's absurd. Just tell them you can't hang out for a while because you have to train/study.
On another note, the subs say "circuit road race" but the actual term is "criterium."

Season 2, episode 11:
That was great with the competition. Too bad about Arakita falling behind. I wonder if he will be able to catch up although hopes aren't high right now.
Whoever wins this next round truly deserves it though. My bet is on Sakamachi's team but Hakone has a good chance also. We also can't forget about Midosuji just yet.

Wow! Hiroshima guys actually gave up.
Arakita sure is an impressive guy.
Sohoku & Hakone guys finally reunited with their teams.
Looks like Midousuji got a grip & turned into his old self.
Things are heating up again!

Maybe telling him to go to sleep while throwing a Bepsi was not a good idea to have him get a good nights sleep?

The race is still ongoing huh....
Know what Sakamachi need right now? Some hime hime song! Hakone is still hanging in there for this race as well.

Arakita gave his best, but just couldn't keep up anymore.
The cruel reality of how hard that race truly is just hit Onoda.
Sohoku united once more rushing after Hakone!
1st years sure pulled the rest of the team like crazy.
Just as they caught up, Hakone accelerated again.
That was a direct challenge to Kinjou from Fukutomi.
Short flashback to Izumida's past was interesting.
Will the Sohoku team divide or not? Hope they won't have to..

Aren't they doing exactly what Midousuji did and said was evil?
