I looked around Funi's site to see how to drop down to the sub-only level from my current all-access subscription. I couldn't find any information on how to do that. Anyone else have a clue?

I share the general enthusiasm for this development. $40 per year sounds like a good deal for all subbed content in HD (although, $30 would be perfect), but I think I will pay 20 dollars more and get all access. I am interested in watching Funimation dubs, but I only buy few of their physical releases to have access to them.

seeing as I watch half of what I own on DVD sub only due to the quality of the dub voice acting. This would be a good thing if Funimation ever up grades there servers!

I think it's great for people who just want to pay for the simulcasts and don't really do the English dubs. I pay for both because I primarily watch dubs.

This is a great deal, possibly. Can someone tell me though, if you have a subscriptions do you still have to buy the app, or will the free one be ad-free for you. It would be crappy of them to make you pay another $10 per app (for different devices) on top of a subscription.

Thanks! I'm buying this then. With this and CR I'm covered for everything.

As a subscriber, you won't have ads in the videos even with the free app, just a display add on the menu screen. The only difference a subscriber would notice if they got the paid app is that ad goes away.

The paid app was intended to give non-subscribers access to a bit more material than a free user would normally have. Frankly, I think it was a mistake on Funimation's part since it confuses so many subscribers into thinking they still need to pay for the app.

I guess I'll ask again if anyone with sub-access can do some comparisons:

For the sub-only access, do you get the same home video streams as the all-access version, but just without access to the dubbed versions?
