That doesn't bode well for me since my Mac is 2008. No matter, I'm reasonably sure I'll be getting an all-region BD player at some point. |

Bought some supplies. A couple of weeks ago, I got some more 6-disc blank cases (standard DVD size, I figure I might as well just buy 6-disc cases instead of both them and 4 disc cases, right?). And I just bought some manga bags. I don't really own any manga bags, so I bought 100 to try them out, put some of my favorite series in them to protect them forever (Banana Fish and Firefighter Daigo are getting them for sure, I can fit, what, 5 series around 20 volumes each? I know which ones will be getting the initial treatment I suppose).

@classicalzawa
Where did you get the 6 disk cases and how wide are they at the spine?? I've always had the problem of finding something that holds the correct number of disks and is the right width to handle the original cover insert. That and the fact that most locations online seem to want to sell you 50 or a 100 of them at a time. |

Maybe this might help. 2 years ago I bought some 6, 7 and 8-disk cases, some were for family video DVDs that I burned and a few were for some anime. I got them at sleeve city and I think it was this version here. They were a little on the cheap side quality wise, but at the time you could buy them individually and they shipped fast and in a sturdy box. The 6 disc fit my Princess Tutu (newer release came in a stack pack) cover art perfectly. The larger disc cases did not fit the cover art of for example GITS:SAC Anime Legends though. I've been meaning to pick up some more cases, but haven't gotten the chance so I don't know if anything has changed quality wise or size wise with them since I ordered last. |

@One-Eye
Thanks, I check them out. I too have been waging war on stack pack cases. |

I got this one on eBay, it's 5 of them for under $10. But these are the standard size case ones. I have some of the other "stack pack" size ones too, both are useful. Most eBay sellers offer them in quantities of 1, 5, 10, then some ridiculous number. Wherever I've looked though, odd numbered cases past 3 tend to be more expensive than even numbered cases. So if I needed 7 discs, I'd just get an 8 disc for a little cheaper. |

Death to stackpacks! *waves pitchfork* Got some manga as a gift from a friend of mine who came back from a vacation: Paradise Kiss Volume 1 Paradise Kiss Volume 2 Paradise Kiss Volume 3 Paradise Kiss Volume 4 I hadn't really considered reading it, but what the heck eh? He unwitting bought me almost all of the series too. I only have to track down volume 5 somewhere. I also got Justice League The Complete Series off the shelf the other day. Not anime but an awesome purchase nonetheless. It comes in a nice tin too. |

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! LE was received Tuesday. They went crazy on the post cards. Standard cards, large cards, a holographic (metallic) card and a moving card. Also a couple stickers and a static cling sticker. Something called a wallet chain and a cell phone strap billed as a key chain. Also a book.

Space Brothers Blu-ray set 1 and Hozuki's Coolheadedness Blu-ray arrived today.
Also arriving is Mr Arashi's Amazing Freak Show from Blast Comics. As a female, the ero guro genre really is not for me but I just LOVE Maruo's work. Still need to pick up the Strange Tale of Panorama Island. |
