I'm glad they're making more because Steins;Gate is my favorite anime of all time. HOWEVER, they could easily ruin the amazing original.
So I'm a bit worried. |

It will "ruin" it if you expect it to be better. The past has shown that "sequels" to what many consider a masterpiece have never been as good.

Again, this isn't a sequel. It's just more material that takes place within the Beta worldline. Which has had side material for years, I mean countless drama cds, a trio of novels and manga.
Anyway, we knew Itou was going to sing the op since the trailers have had the off-vocal track of Amadeus playing which is the title of the opening song. Zwei doing the ending has me worried because they really should have a FES song. Then again odds are it's like the past spin off titles were they have one group do the normal ed and then have a FES song for the bad end. |

It looks like the lyrics and music for the opening are also being composed by Chiyomaru Shikura, just like the original VN and anime openings. http://vgmdb.net/album/54230

Indeed, Steins;Gate wouldn't be Steins;Gate without Kanako Itou. Looking forward to seeing and hearing her again at Animelo Summer Live 2015. |

Isn't it more significant to note that Itou's sung every Science Adventure series OP (including the ones for ports), not just Steins;Gate?
