If you recall, during it's airing, there has been talk (even from that Gainax guy) about how confusing it's story was. |
Yes... and?

Is the Evangelion blu-ray digitally remastered in the same way the Director's Cut of those 4 episodes was? (i.e. retouched art, etc)

Beautiful numbers this week. Damn it. Needed SnK, DxD, DanMachi, ToSND, Grisaia to be over 5K.

I've only seen caps of the EVA BD, but it looks like a finely done 16mm transfer. Grain is definitely present and the could not possibly look any better. And that's not an exaggeration or hyperbole, 1080p BluRay is pretty much the limit unless you kept it at 1080p but just had it on a format that allowed for even higher bitrate.

Same here. The second season was fantastic. |
Usually, I can't stand a series if the end is left open. Open endings can really influence how I feel about a series overall, even if I enjoyed every single episode in the lead up.
Not the case with SNAFU TOO, strangely enough. Though, now that the LNs and manga have been licensed...being able to read the end (if it doesn't get animated) helps.
