At first I was freaking out but then I realized they just mean you won't be able to access the PSN Store via PSP anymore and that PSP content will still be available via Vita et al.

Thank goodness the PSP players won't be affected much by the shutdown of the PSP PlayStation Store with the content still being available on the PS3 and Vita Stores.

The Vita has most of the PS1 classics and can play some that were PS3 only (you can't play the classic Armored Core trilogy on PSP without CFW and if you do that the controls weren't meant for Armored Core and thus sucks but on the vita you can and 3, Silent Line, and Last Raven Portable controls like the best wet dream you had on the vita, it's almost as good as playing them on PS2).

I was thinking the same thing what with the Vita having been out for a few years now. But then again look how long Sony was making the PS2 console. I for one never accessed the PSP store so I'm not going to miss out on anything. |
