Nozaki-kun bases a lot of its humor on taking what would be a stereotypical scene in a shoujo manga and then turning it upside down. Could it be that the person in charge of casting wanted to subvert the expected voice roles? Probably not, but Monica Rial was one of the furthest from my mind for Kashima's voice.

I have to say I was expecting someone like Luci Christian, but Monica sounds amazing. It's nice to hear her do her lower range, since she rarely gets a chance to. I'm getting so hyped for this cast!
