I suspected something along those lines. Still I don't think it does anything to soften the blow or that it should be given a break because of that. Besides, there is no guarantee any future games will be adapted into anime and I'm not a gamer. Even if they are and the sequel was amazing it wouldn't effect my rating for this particular show, only the hypothetical new one. Since the characters are likable and the story has the potential to be interesting I'd definitely watch a sequel to this though.
