Wait, I thought ZUN had a blanket ban on anything Touhou getting any official translations. Did he relax it, or is this not part of it?

Knowing that Remilia Scarlet is in the title, I voted for her sister Flandre.
 It wouldn't be the same if only one of them appeared, IMO.

I never heard about a ban, but when he came to Anime Weekend Atlanta in 2013 ZUN said the issue was just that he prefers handling everything himself (if he has to work with a translator he might not be able to communicate his ideas exactly) but his English isn't good enough to do that. He DID express interest in getting the series over to the West, and singled out Steam as a good potential avenue. That said, how terrible for this poll to make me have to choose between my waifus. Ended up voting for Reisen, and seeing how far she is ahead of Yukari at the moment that feels like the right choice (she's still losing to Flan, but a lot can change). |

As explained above it's not a ban, just that he doesn't want to give it to any random people to translate. Furthermore, this is a fangame so it doesn't really matter to him. |
