I wonder where the line is between knee socks and thigh highs.
I had thought that those models were wearing thigh highs because knee socks ended below the knee, but a trip to Google showed that I was wrong and knee socks can extend above the knee. This requires further study, purely for academic purposes.

Just when I think Japan couldn't get any stranger,they manage to prove me wrong. A group of scuba diving girls and one of them's doing a real life imitation of Doctor Octopus from the "Spider-Man" comics. The word "bizarre" comes to mind when I saw the pictures in the article and it's very apt.
