| Now this sounds interesting. The question is, will they pull in a few "current events" bits or stick completely to the novel? Either way, this could be a good social commentary anime. |

That was a good book...when it was called 'Fahrenheit 451'. And could pull off being a serious adult allegory, instead of a teen comedy.
In all seriousness I never heard much about the book, but I did see a bit of the serialization from a recent 'LALA', and it was awful derivative. (A ditzy, ornery heroine who doesn't realize her mentor is in love with her, brilliant!) Perhaps the book is different in tone/writing level. |
