Eh they're not really romantically involved, those feelings are still one sided tbh


I don't think it matters much if the feelings are one sided or not when one side is only mildly bothered and the other is all for it. Neutral

I've heard the series has some creepy nationalistic vibes to it, so that was probably what was being referenced.
