I'll definitely watch it, but it's not one I'll be eagerly anticipating. Beyond the quality fan service, it was only so-so overall.

I thought it was weird that apparently the scene with this character was on another version of the broadcast, but I guess that was because it was a season 2 teaser.
Well, I'm happy to be getting more Chained Soldier! I hope they stay more faithful to the manga next season! |

Absolutely fantastic news, and it means I get more of Best Girl Shushu. I do wonder if this was planned as split-cour as the Blu-ray pre-orders numbers are not good based on the Amazon Japan rankings even after the final episode aired. Pony Canyon leads the production committee and Shueisha isn't on it, meaning the music and Blu-ray sales are rather important. I was rather worried it wasn't going to get a second season, especially with the final episode having an ending I've seen too many times in shows that never got a sequel.
I may be in the minority here, especially as I've yet to read the manga (I recently got just the first two volumes), but this was honestly one of my favorite shows in years. It was far more enjoyable than it was actually good, but it had so much going for it for me. I was going to be crushed if this didn't get additional seasons. |

While Chain Soldier is not my favorite anime in years, it has a chance to be in my top 5 for this year. I am very glad to know that there are more fans of this show. |

Chained Solider, Tale of Wedding Rings, and Apothecary Diaries getting their second seasons. Now all I need is that Gushing Over Magical Girls announcement.
