I know ShutterBox from TokyoPop is probably American made....err...that is, the authors' names are not foreign.

I read a cute book about a young girl who moves into her weird, old, rich uncle's mansion. She discovers he has extensive knowledge about the goblin world surrounding the village. It's not a kiddie one but was drawn manga style. I wish I could remember the name of it.

I haven't read the Rising Stars from TokyoPop yet but I really would like to.

its good to know manga is getting popular now.
I hope that Dr Slump will make it here in N.America.
