I never really considered those to be artboxes. Just more something to keep the discs together. The one that came with the first two volumes is an artbox (something that holds all the volumes). Though one could argue it is not much better. |

I bought Moribito volumes 3-8 at rightstuf plus the standalone artbox. My God, I can't believe I payed money for just an artbox.

well, just placed an order for Moribito v.1-8 (plus artbox). I was sort of hoping to wait until a full boxset was compiled, but with the TRSI sale I decided to go ahead and hop to it.

I was talking to a friend about Black Lagoon. It's a title I've been interested in since it first came out in fansubs and everyone in the forums was talking about it. I was wavering back and forth on whether or not to go ahead and finally buy it, and then I read TheTheory's comments in the "What are you watching right now?" thread and that pushed me over the edge, so I ordered:
Black Lagoon: Complete Set I haven't actually seen any of it, so I hope I enjoy it as much as I think I'm going to. The idea of ditching the humdrum corporate drone lifestyle for something more interesting certainly appeals to me, maybe more than it should...

I could be wrong, but weren't those the exact same prices TRSI was offering before the "sale?" You are paying $112 for a series that TRSI will likely price at $52.49 when it comes out as a complete set. I guess you must really want it badly. |

The discount is applied after you place your order. It's not the prices on the webpage. It's 40% of MSRP, plus, if you have gotanime, it's another 10%. So it's more like $90 vs. $112. If I wasn't completely broke now, I'd probably do it. This show is worth it. |

Actually, Got Anime members get another 6% off, which makes it 46% (yay, captain obvious). So it's more like $102 (if he bought the singles, not the doubles). I wish we got the full extra 10% off, though.

Yeah, I messed up somewhere... it will be less than $90 with the two-packs+box, which is what I was aiming for... more like $80?

Since this seems to have sparked some debate, here is the breakdown:
v.1 & 2 with box: $26.99 v.3 & 4 $20.99 v.5 & 6 20.99 v.7 & 8 20.99 =89.69 free shipping, of course. Not sure how much the boxset will be if/when it releases, but it will probably end up being less in the end. Still, I really got bit by the Moribito bug and want it NOW not then. |

Got in a package with Inuyasha season 5 LE with Sesshy scroll, Inuyasha season 6 and Inuyasha season 7. This finishes my collection of the first series! YAH! (I'm re-watching the whole thing to celebrate!)
Unfortunately, I also learned of my credit card info being stolen by some bloody bastard in the UK. So I'm not going to be doing much with my card for a while until everything is straightened out and my pre-orders may get F-ed up as a result. Folks, I'm careful with my information and it still got stolen. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL RIGHT NOW!!!! With the economic problems going on, fraudsters are EVERYWHERE and they are using new tricks and old ones to get what they want! Check your statements early and often. |

Yea, see, I thought you got the Designer Box (the one not made of paper) and the eight singles. Well, if the internet is right, then you're not gonna like the artbox you got because it's extremely flimsy. That's what I hear at least and I don't doubt it because I've seen some of the "artboxes" they use. |
