A: Hey......For now, do you want to meet them?
B: If that's a joke, it isn't funny. If I meet any of them, we'll try to kill each other.
A: You and I didn't.
B: You're just weird.
A: I'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult.

I think the better question is "What is with the Anglosphere and Saint Seiya"? The series is quite popular in its home country of Japan, in most of Asia, and in at least the Romance language countries in Europe. It is only in English speaking countries that it's seen as some weird obscure thing.
I'll guess Adlet speaking to Flamie in Rokka Braves of the Six Heroes.

Correct, but I believe it's Six Flowers.

I can safely say Saint Seiya -with all of its iterations and spin-offs- is one of my all-time favorite anime, in its full dumb macho shonen glory. I'd ask the reverse question, what's up with Americans and Saint Seiya, literally no one cares about it. Soul of Gold only has 17 ratings in the ANN Encyclopedia. Down here it's only second to DBZ in terms of mainstream anime, even people who've never heard of anime have watched it.

X, who had given up her twin-tails for our sake, and for the sake of atoning for her sins on her world, was about to tie up her twin-tails with a smile on her face. It is flatly inexcusable that my own mind was so weak that it permitted such fantasy!

I'm thinking this is Souji realizing he is under some sort of mind control. Gonna Be the Twin Tail

To the English-speaking world, Saint Seiya is about guys so pretty they look like girls, who dress up in overly-ornate fab-ulous armour, and fight equally glamorous baddies. I and most other Western men don't want to watch two effeminate boy-bands throw corny insults at one another. They should just settle their differences with disco dance-offs; it's practically the same as what they do already.
Answer to the current quote:
Tailred from Ore no Twintail to Dark Grasper. Tailred has just broken out of an illusion world and is explaining the inconsistency in it that tipped him/her off.

That is correct with respect to the answer.
That is so very wrong with respect to Saint Seiya.

Well, you asked what the deal was with the Anglosphere and Saint Seiya, and so I told you. The West may indeed have a false impression/perception of the franchise but what I said is still the truthful answer to your question.
Turn is open.

I don't know what "the West" means in New Zealand, but in 'Murica it definitely includes countries like Italy, France, and Portugal. And in China the term “西方“ includes those countries as well.

Oh you know what I mean. Rich white people descended from the Western Europeans who speak English American as a first language.
Turn is still open.

That only covers half the 'west', thank you very much.

We don't have that restriction in the quote game. Rule of thumb is still 12 hours, though.
