Hmm. A GitS SAC sequel does seem plausible. I think the director is either done or almost done with his work on the Eden of the East franchise by now.

Something GitS related makes the most sense, as it is probably their single most popular, successful and visible franchise at a global level that stretches beyond fandom.

Production IG is also doing the Break Blade movies too, that could be what they mean. As much as I'm hoping it means more Ghost in the Shell, Tsubasa Chronicle, or more of the Moribito books animated....hell I'd even take more Ghost Hound or Real Drive but those two are pretty much done.
More importantly, what's been canceled? Better not be Xebec's Bleach, though I highly doubt that given it's a shounen powerhouse. |

Isn't it obviously more GitS? I remember I.G commenting on the possibility of more GitS just a few cons ago (AX?).
Can't wait. I.G definitely hasn't be my favorite animation company. Almost anything they produce is usually a winner to me. Madhouse definitely comes in close second, but they can make more than a few hit-or-miss series :S |

Kruszer: Real Drive may have zero need for a sequel, but I think it would be easy as pie to spin another series off of it.

Yeah, definitely. The universe is still there and rich and ready to explore, it just doesn't "need" it all that badly because it ended on a really good note.

I think it's pretty obvious that we're getting Kemono no Souja Erin 2, Ghost Hound: The Movie, and Toshokan Sensou: The Movie.
