What about Motoki Takagi,Chiwa Sato and Mamiko Noto and Wataru Hotano? They are all natives of Chiba. And Shinichiro Miki,Rika Matsumoto,Michiko Neya,Rika Fukami,Ai Orikasa and Aya Hisakawa? All Saitama natives. I'm not worried about Keiniichi Suzumura and Riza Hayamizu from ARTSVISION,they're both natives and residents of Osaka. |

I'm a little worried about Naoko Takeuchi and Yoshihiro Togashi and their kids, I don't think I've heard anything from them...

Zero Sum Editor Sugino Yosuke tweeted that Minekura Kazuya is safe, though her office seems to have sustained serious damage. (Or so Nifty's translation boxes suggest.)

Has anyone heard any information about Junichi Kanemaru (seiyuu for Sonic the Hedgehog), Jun Mochizuki (Pandora Hearts), or Hiromu Arakara (Fullmetal Alchemist)?
I haven't heard anything from them...I'm glad that at people are okay though, including people in the anime industry. Girubaato |

I'm confident that most of these seiyuu are okay. The epicenter of the quake was 250 miles off the coast of Northern Japan, most of the damage and death is in Miyagi and on the coastline of Fukushima. The death toll thankfully is from the Tsunami not the jiishin. Neigborhoods and prefectures in Tokyo are intact, buildings swayed but didn't collapse. 4 million central Japan resident are without power.
Japan is very earthquake prone and very jiishin conceinece. They're known as the top disaster prepared country in the world. They've spent decades developing quake techology and even have special helmets for falling debris. |
