Are you anticipating a resolution for Kyo and Tohru's relationship?

I tend to agree with suna_suna. It always felt that this volume is more of a climax than the final volume. Not just because we find a resolution to Kyo and Tohru's relationship. This is by far, my favourite volume. I think that after this volume is released we can re-discuss the couples that are left for us to discuss.

Okay, so Vol. 23 just tidies up everything?
Well, then! I'm looking forward to vol. 22 with great anticipation!

that's how things usually are. a climax doesn;t happen at the end unless it's a big cliffhanger. it's the resolution in the final volume

I would encourage you suna to please watch your words a bit more. While not giving away any direct spoilers you're coming very close to spoiling the excitement and anticipation, at least IMO, because you're making it clear what will or will not happen in the next volume. Even by saying "you can't say anything" you really already have. You've made it rather clear the climax is in the next volume and not vol 23 and to me that sort of takes away from the excitement. Just my opinion. Part of the fun for me, and I suspect others, has been not knowing what will happen in the next volume after reading the previous one. You're coming close to spoiling that uncertainty and anticipation. Just saying. Btw, sorry for no comments on vol 21 myself. By the time I read it discussion was pretty much done so I opted to wait for vol 22.

Fortunately for you in the past 2-3 years my short term memory has gone into the crapper. by tomorrow hopefully the pattern will continue and I won't even remember what I had for breakfast today.

Oh man, I was afraid that this thread was gone. I had thought about reviving it myself but I've been very busy lately. It's great to be back on ANN though, and it's great to see that this thread is back up! Our beloved series is almost getting to a certain point that many of us know about, but I know that all of us will be happy to contribute something to the ever going conversation about the series.

Okay, I got my vol. 22 today...and I've read it.
I actually had to put it down to dry my eyes so that I could see again.
Terrific, outstanding, amazing and wonderful volume!
Y'all need to hurry up and get yours so we can discuss this!

Wow, it's finally out? Which means hopefully we'll be seeing it on the USA booklist soon enough.

Well, I had pre-ordered it via Barnes & Noble, so I think is that they got it in, saw that I'd ordered it and sent me the e-mail informing me of it's arrival. It's not "officially" out until Tuesday. I would suggest that if you haven't ordered it like I did, you can check the shelves of your favorite bookstore, then ask at the desk for volume...and pretend like you don't know the official date. Because they might have it the back and they might let you have it, it depends on how much of a Rules Nazi you get.
