Yup, that was part of their FuNico initiative that went south almost immediately. Funimation still has the series available in NA on their website actually. But Crunchyroll has the BD versions of the episodes, plus they're available on the mobile app, so this is a pretty good turn of events IMO |

Can you watch To Love-Ru on the iOS app? I've had issues watching sexier shows (School Days and Panty and Stocking back when it was streaming off the top of my head) on the app; as in, not listed at all, due to Crunchyroll trying to maintain their 12+ rating.

Are you saying that Crunchyroll doesn't show anime that is rated for teens and above? |

I could see the first manga series having a better chance of getting licensed by Viz compared to Darkness since the 2nd series is almost porn.

I'm saying the app is avoiding R-rated type anime. |

You need to have the Show Mature Content option enabled in your account. I think you need to be a premium member too. Here's the Crunchyroll thread with the announcement of the workaround. http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-689490/mature-content-iphone-crunchyroll-app It was the same thing on my PS3 and PS4 app. I couldn't watch certain shows before I enabled the option. |

It is strange the To Love Ru series is classified as "Mature" on Crunchyroll, despite being all TV-14 by Sentai.

Apparently either no one knows, or no one feels like answering that question. |

The Anime Network's stream on the Roku app is uncensored from what I can tell. I haven't been able to find a complete "stemless" or "light beam less" version as to compare to High School DxD yet. I do notice the difference from the TV aired version and the one on their Roku app. You are able to see nipple though the somewhat censor bar and this might just have been due to the age of the anime at the time and what could be shown.
The Crunchyroll stream they released recently is the same as the one on Sentai's "The Anime Network" service. (This applies to the first season "To Love Ru"). I will update once I get through Motto and Darkness 1. |

Motto is definitely uncensored, while the first Darkness series is definitely censored. Both are easily verified by viewing a few minutes of the first episode of each. The original To Love-ru series should also be uncensored, as it was never a simulcast, although I didn't check it at CR. |
