While I can't make lame Hank Scorpio jokes anymore, I can trade in my vanilla Xbone for the One X alongside the Pro.
Please let Sony drop the price of the Pro to compete. PLEASE. |

That's still a lot of money for something that's mostly a way to get 4K, not the Uber-Console One X apparently is. |

I'd choose 4K and my library of hundreds of games on Xbox over exclusive games that I really don't care about. Just because something is exclusive doesn't make it worth playing or even something that interests me. I don't understand how/why this is such a driving force in every topic about Xbox, especially when Sony hasn't even announced anything yet. |

I want both. And I want them at a reasonable price. I'm an adult, I work a 40 hour week, I don't want to choose just one if it makes sense budget wise. (To be fair, I got a PS3 cheap years after it came out and after I got a 360 to play those exclusives, so I can wait). I just see no need to get a Switch. |

Yeah at least until it crashes it just like what happened back in the 80's or leads to companies shooting themselves in the foot for an extended period of time like Sega did. |

Not having exclusives gives you less reasons to buy this thing especially since they're on PS4 and PC which both actually have exclusives as well. Also Sony have announced and released more than enough in the past year. |

I do like the backwards compatibility for original Xbox games when the Xbox was good and had variety. However it has a few issues.
-Too expensive, not launch PS3 expensive, but still $100 too much. -Not enough exclusives, they've been behind on exclusives since the middle of the 360's lifespan. -Lack of variety and Japanese games, they've been behind for a long time. The orginal Xbox had decent Japan only exclusives. Since the 360, they had to make desperate (and some really dumb) moves to get them on their consoles outside of Shmups and it doesn't give them good sales at all. - |

Competition had nothing to do with the crash in the 80's. That was caused because Atari had p!ss poor quality control and allowed companies to make and release any onld sh!t on their systems. There is no way a similar crash will ever happen under thr watch of current companies. As for Sega. If they didn't stuff around creating a million add-ons for the Genesis and actually focused on a Saturn type console a few years earlier they wouldn't have been financially cooked by the time the Dreamcast dropped |

At the end of the day, the price of the XBOX will cause it to fail. Here in Australia it costs $649. I can't see too many people upgrading to it at that price
