| At least bring something from Matsumoto over here. I miss Galaxy Express. | ||||||

| I hope the lawsuits go well. I, for one, look forward for more anime from Mr.
Matsumoto in the future as well as more of the "Yamato" (Star Blazers) franchise. |

It appears that quite a bit of the Yamato franchise is available to buy. |

All the TV series eps from that company are the cut-&-dubbed version. And the two Yamato movie DVDs I bought from that company wouldn't play all the way through, and were obviously mastered from videotape (burned-in subs and all). |

| Are Nishizaki and Matsumoto still fueding? Nishizaki needs to realize he's a nobody without Matsumoto. What has he done since Space Battleship Yamato that anyone's cared about? Nothing. Meanwhile, Matsumoto went on to create a beloved anime icon, Captain Harlock, and did several anime of him and others (with varying success, I realize, but it's something at least). All Nishizaki's done is be arrested for weapons posession. I think we know who the real talent of the two is.
I have the Yamato movies on DVD (available from Voyager Entertainment). In fact, recently I realized I have to replace a couple of damaged discs from the boxset. There's a lot of interesting info and interviews included on them, though, and a great booklet with the boxset. I don't really care or want new Yamato (especially if Matsumoto isn't involved). I'd prefer to have the original series, uncut, bilingual, new dub, etc. |

And before Viz took over for the movies, Galaxy Express was released and dubbed by Roger Corman
And it never got a DVD release neither (something about license expiring) |
