Hey, don't diss the filler arc! Sure, it's long, boring, pointless, and the art is terrible, but it has that great two-part episode where Daisuke has to clean the hot springs resort!

Good, Daisuke, you look kinda cool!
...at least Daisuke was fortunate enough to have animators that remember the essentials ....say, his head. Not that there's ever been any shonen series that have made ridiculous mistakes like that.

*sigh* This is one of the fandom's dark secrets that wasn't supposed to come to light... I actively try to deny the horrid quality of the fillers, consoling myself that the later episodes are much better... But I can never forget the pain of watching Daisuke's mop handle seemingly smash through Vaccuum Vinnie's forehead... and no one saying anything because it wasn't intended to be animated like that...
Now Nina, too, shares our pain... |
