There's being jealous, being really envious, and then there's me after seeing this news article. I'll admit not being able to do this one REALLY hurts. All those Titan guests AND Elisa? Crying or Very sad

That's what people like you and I like to think. Anime Festival Asia 2013 hosted them and the SAO people; neither of them announced a season 2 during the event. Although they did get Ishikawa Yui to say "Eren, EAT THE BREAD" at one point.

Probably not. Usually when announcing another season, they would celebrate it by hosting an event in Japan.

Last year I traveled to Sakura-con for the first time for their Psycho-Pass guest line up and they ended up filming it for the bonus part of their English BD/DVD set.

I think this will fall in the same pattern. Since they recently announced the english VAs for AoT, I think they will be filming this as well and putting it into their BD/DVD set.

This just in...Mami Koyama is also also announced as a guest.

Talk about an accomplished career. Gundam, Akira, Millennium Actress...her resume is staggering.

They did it at Anime Expo last year: animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-07-06/i.g-head/2nd-psycho-pass-season-is-underway

It was announced in Japan within a few weeks following at a separate event, but to my knowledge was announced at AX first.

I wouldn't say that. I was there and in that case, it was a slip up which was not suppose to happen. During the Q&A, there were multiple questions asking about a 2nd season. Ishikawa was talking to the other guest in Japanese and the translator happened to translate what he said into English when he really wasn't suppose to. Although I remember hearing Ishikawa saying the word movie, but the translator said show.

And regarding the Psycho-Pass event in Japan, that was announced before AX as an all night screening of all the episodes with a special project to be revealed. So everyone already assumed they would be announcing something whether in be a 2nd season, movie, or whatever.

It was not purposefully done, but just an unfortunate case of info accidentally being released when it should not. And believe me, that was a mistake as my twitter exploded with Japanese fan venting their anger as they wanted to hear the news first. I'm sure Ishikawa regretted the slip.
