Some shows - like Code Geass, Sword Art Online II, and KanColle - unsurprisingly got good numbers, but others - like Show By Rock!!, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Zoku, and Sidonia no Kishi: Dai-kyū Wakusei Sen'eki - managed to get better numbers than I thought they would. Very Happy

No...No, I'm not crying because Yona didn't place again. It's just raining on my face...

Also...Huh. DanMachi isn't doing nearly as well as I thought it would, considering the amount of attention it's been getting online. Those sales aren't bad, but I guess the boob ribbon obsession didn't translate into a smash hit.

I'm surprised Seraph isn't doing that well.

Yona came out weeks ago, why would it rank again in such a busy week?

6k wk1 is far from small.

The second set came out June 24th. (It actually did rank in the DVD rankings this week, but still sold horribly number-wise.)

It makes me wonder who bought Show by Rock more: fanboys or fangirls?

Yeah, 1200 is shit, especially since it's 1200 DVDs. Show's a bomb.

Oops, my bad. Though it was just a box set release. But I just remembered its being released in singles(which is rather strange for such a late release).

Both, probably.

Bones seems to be on a roll with some strange shows right now. I didn't think Show By Rock would do all that well, and I definitely didn't think Blood Blockade Battlefront would either, so this is pretty cool for them.

Tops, where it belongs. Seriously, there can be nothing greater than that episode.

Is it just me, or do women generally tend to care less about video quality?

Shows with a mostly female fanbase still tends to get a lot more DVD sales than gender split/mostly male fanbases.
So it seems like it.
