The editing on this one was sloppy. The edits for blood were massively inconsistent. Moreso than in any other episode largely due to the fact that this was probably the bloodiest episode in the show. But the real tragedy of this episode was how the deaths of Yumi and Shishio were handled. In short, they weren't. They were simply removed from the episode. Anyone who was not already familiar with what happened in this episode would have no way of knowing exactly how the battle ended and how Kenshin won. And Yumi's death was one of the great tragic events in the show. The next run this show makes on CN should be on Adult Swim.
