Trivia:

"Onegai Teacher," including "Onegai Twins," take place on an actual location: on the shores of Lake Kizaki, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.

The domestic DVD release title of volume 1, "Hot For Teacher," is taken from the 1983 Van Halen song of the same title

In case you cannot recognize the bottles, the Okinawa hotel’s fridge in ep 5 is filled with “energy drinks”, the caffeine delivery systems disguised as vitamin drinks that the Japanese use extensively as pick-me-ups and hangover cures. The embarrassing implication is, of course, that Mizuho and Kei will need refueling after much exhausting physical activity.

The setting of the series, though left unsaid in either anime or manga, is Lake Kizaki, located in Nagano, Japan, and the region and its surrounding locations are featured prominently and accurately across the series. The novel does say the school the characters attend is the Nagano Prefectural Kizaki High school. This school is based upon the Old Matsumoto High School located in Agatanomori Park of Matsumoto-shi, about an hour south of Lake Kizaki on the JR Ooito Line. The tower of which we see Kaede & Hyouske standing upon can be found in Joyama Kouen on the northwest part of the city.

A box of Pocky is in pretty much every ep.

The movie Kei and Koishi saw in Episode 4 is actually the Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo OVA. Also, JAM Project's "Storm", the OVA's OP can be heard in the background.
