Comment:
The first two editions contained about 200 pages each for ten volumes. The Chuko Comics edition contained three volumes of about 600 pages each. While the fourth printing consisted of seven 270 pages volumes.
Written as a semiautobiography with artwork from an actual survivor of the bombing of Hiroshima, Keji Nakazawa. It displays a strong anti-war message, including realistic showing how the innocent are affected by war, both before and after.
