(1961) Was approached by Stan Lee to do a superhero comic that became known as the Fantastic Four.
(1967) Was awarded the Alley Award for Best Pencil Artist as well as many other awards for individual stories.
(1971) Was awarded the Shazam Award for Special Achievement by an Individual.
