NIS America Plans Bleach: Soul Resurrección PS3 Game

NIS America (NISA), the American subsidiary of the Nippon Ichi Software game company, has revealed that it is releasing the Bleach: Soul Ignition game under the name Bleach: Soul Resurrección for the PlayStation 3 game console this August. The game adapts the Arrancar arc of the Bleach anime series, and it will ship in Japan on June 23.

The single-player action/adventure game will depict "the battle between the Soul Reapers and the army of evil Arrancars that threaten the peace of the world." Atlus U.S.A., Inc. will be distributing the game. An English-dubbed trailer is available on NIS America's website.

For the Japanese version, the anime studio Pierrot animated the original opening sequence set to SID's theme song "Ranbu no Melody," previously heard in the television anime series.
