Broadcast with cast, staff, theme song artist to stream live tonight

The Ustream website will broadcast a live Aquarion Evol presentation on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Japan (Friday at 9:30 p.m. EST). The presentation will include a talk show featuring the anime's staff and cast, including chief director Shoji Kawamori, director Yusuke Yamamoto, and producer Atsushi Iwazaki.

The presentation will also announce the anime's theme song artist. The artist will then perform during the broadcast. The broadcast will also announce new information regarding the upcoming television anime series.

Plans for Aquarion Evol, the newest title in director Kawamori and Satelight's Aquarion robot anime franchise, were revealed in February. The Japanese production company Media Factory began streaming a teaser trailer for the new television anime in April, and two more trailers began streaming in August.

The story of Aquarion Evol will take place 12,000 years after the first Aquarion television series at a city modeled after Hong Kong. A new cast of characters, piloting a new Aquarion robot, will fight enemies from another dimension. Kawamori has hinted that the characters might be reincarnations of Apollo, Silvia, and the other characters from the first series. Aquarion Evol will premiere in January.
