To Love-Ru Darkness Hugging Pillow Auction Ends at US$2,600

Momo dakimakura originally given away in random drawing
A Yahoo! Japan site user named "totoro6692" auctioned a To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness hugging pillow (dakimakura) for 201,000 yen (about US$2,600). The pillow features the character Momo from Saki Hasemi and Kentarō Yabuki's comedy romance manga spinoff.
The auction began on Saturday and received 107 bids before it closed on Monday at 10:40 p.m. in Japan (8:40 a.m. EST). The auctioned pillow was unopened and included the original prize notification letter.
Shueisha's Jump Square magazine, which serializes the manga series, originally gave away a limited number of the Momo pillows in a random drawing advertised in the December issue.
