Nyarko-san Anime Gets Nendoroid, Figma Figures

Anthropomorphized Cthulhu deity of chaos gets the Good Smile Company treatment

The Japanese figure maker Good Smile Company announced at this weekend's Niconico Chōkaigi convention that it will make both Nendoroid and figma figures for the ongoing Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos (Haiyore! Nyaruko-san) anime.

The story of the anime and Manta Aisora's original comedy light novels centers around Nyarko, the Cthulhu deity of chaos (Nyarlathotep) who can take on the shape of a seemingly ordinary silver-haired girl. The novels already inspired a Flash net anime and an Flash television anime in 2010. The new television series, which is being traditionally animated by the studio Xebec, premiered in Japan on April 9, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series outside of Asia.
