Additional Cast for Lucky Star On Stage Musical Announced

The official website for the upcoming stage musical adaptation of Kagami Yoshimizu's Lucky Star manga has announced additional cast members for the show.
The newly-announced cast members, including seven characters original to the musical, are as follows:
- Yurika Sannomiya as Misao Kusakabe
- Mayu Yoshioka as Ayano Minegishi
- Motoko Nakane as Nagisa Nagatoro
- Mao Higuchi as Aoi Higashimatsuyama
- Chika Kumagai as Chinami Koshigaya
- Ryousuke Tsuruta as Blaster Kino
- Kensuke Fukuyama as Kawai Tobashiya
- Shin Ginoza as Ozaki Angel
- Shō Takano as Aizaki Kamisori
- Mizuho Nagashima as Akira Kogami
Its producers held open auditions earlier this year that gathered 13,000 applicants. Performers from the musical will appear at the August 26 Chara Hobby 2012 event, and they are also scheduled to participate in the Hajisai Festival held by the Washimiya Shrine, also known as the "Lucky Star shrine."
Last month, the website for the musical posted clips of the cast dancing in costume. The musical will run from September 20 to 30 at Tokyo Dome City's Theatre G-Rosso.
