Interest Baka to Test to Shōkanjū Portable's 1st Promo Video Streamed

Kadokawa began streaming the first promotional video for Kadokawa Games' upcoming video game adaptation of Kenji Inoue's Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts (Baka to Test to Shōkanjū) light novel series and anime on Friday. The two-minute video features gameplay footage and introduces the game's main characters and cast. The cast from the anime will reprise their roles for the voiced game.
The board game/adventure game will allow players to experience the summoning exam wars of the story. Players advance through the game board part of the software by spinning a roulette, and they collect equipment and money along the way. There will also be a part of the game where players can interact with every character, as well as beast-summoning battles.
The game will ship for the PlayStation Portable handheld console on December 13. A limited-edition version will retail for 8,190 yen (about US$104) and the standard edition will retail for 6,090 yen (about US$77).
