Capcom's Sengoku Basara Gets Magazine in 2013

CAPCOM announced on Friday that its historical action game franchise Sengoku Basara is inspiring a dedicated magazine in Spring 2013. ASCII Media Works will publish Sengoku Basara Magazine with the series' latest news, detailed individual features on the franchise's military commanders, comics, illustrations, and other content. The magazine will also bundle bonuses like CDs and straps. The January 2013 issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Maoh magazine will reveal more information on November 27.
The third Sengoku Basara stage play, titled Butai Sengoku Basara 3: Setouchi Kyouran, also opened in Tokyo on Friday, and it will run until November 11. Performances will be held in Osaka on November 16-18.
The next live Sengoku Basara event, "Basara Matsuri 2013 ~Haru No Jin~," will take place in Tokyo's Ryōgoku Kokugikan hall on March 30-31, 2013. At least four of the game series' voice actors will attend the event, and tickets will cost 6,800 yen (about US$85).
CAPCOM announced on Friday that the franchise is inspiring its first stage musical adaptation from the famous all-female Takarazuka Revue Company.
