Girls & Panzer Ad Showcases Plastic Model Tanks

The Japanese model maker PLATZ began airing a commercial for its Girls und Panzer plastic model kit series. Each of the 1/35-scale tank models — the Panzer IV Ausf. D, the Panzer 38(t), and the Panzer III Ausf. F with assault cannon — recreates a tank seen in the anime itself.
The models will arrive in Japan this December with decals to reproduce the markings seen in the anime, or a personal design. Anime illustrations also adorn the packaging and instructions. The Panzer IV Ausf. D model will retail for 5,040 yen (US$63), while the other two will retail for 4,410 yen (US$55) each.
